Colliers Wood United Football Club is an English semi-professional football club based in West Wimbledon in the London Borough of Merton. The club are currently members of the Combined Counties League Premier Division and play at the Wibbandune Sports Ground.
History
The club was established in 1874. They played in leagues in Wimbledon and Sutton, before joining the Southern Division of the Surrey Intermediate League. In the 1960s and 1970s they were members of the Surrey Senior League, winning Division One in 1969–70.[1]
After playing on the local recreation ground, in 1991 the club moved to the Wibbandune Sports Ground. In 2001 they joined the Surrey County Senior League, which became the new Division One of the Combined Counties League in 2003. In the 2003–04 season they finished as runners-up in the division, and were promoted to the Premier Division.[2]
